So it’s last week before the madness called Christmas ends. I am at the moment busy with job interviews, answering recruiters and planning interviews around my work day. It’s complicated especially when someone wants to talk to me over the phone for a bit longer unannounced.
Last week was crazy, my LinkedIn messaging inbox is flooded by recruiters and I am starting to lose track of to whom I need to reply and my spoons are leaking as well. It’s also a learning experience in telling people no because not all positions are interesting or allow me to have reasonable hours.
With redesign I chose to make a space for an animation between the menu and the actual content. It’s always an SVG animation, so nothing which would cause huge data transfers, current one is 4KB big. I am dealing with a burnout at the moment because 2017 work-wise sucks for me. But I needed a surgery and for that I had to stay somewhere for a longer time. Frankly speaking life is hard when you have to spend two to three hours everyday on post-surgery care which is unpleasant at best and painful at worst. Luckily I have less than one month to go until I can start dialing down. Continue reading “Interesting things from the web – Week 46 of 2017”
Unconscious mind is an interesting thing. The whole last week I wanted to read a lot of disability related posts, especially about Autism, but I was stopping myself because I wanted to read more posts to share here. And then I crashed during the weekend. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
